No such column "IsRecurrence" on entity "Event" while synching

Hi,

I am using Outlook 2007 and latest available Outlook Edition 3.2.x on a Windows XP Sp2 machine.

After I have installed v3.2.x I tried to synch my events (no contact or tasks), i get an error saying that 'No such column "IsRecurrence" on entity "Event"'

What does that mean? Is it possible to fix this problem? Where to look for?

SFC Outlook edition 2.x worked without problems.

Any help will be highly appreciated.

regards
Hasan

hi,

shutdown Outlook, open the registry (run regedit) and go to key: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Salesforce.com\SM

on the right side you will find a key "ServerUrl". Mine was set to https://www.salesforce.com/services/Soap/c/5.0

Change it to:

https://www.salesforce.com/services/Soap/c/9.0

Shutdown regedit, run Outlook and try syncing. it should work.

I had the same issue. It turned out to be an issue with security - my role did not have full R/W access to the the events object. Once we added full R/W to all fields on the object for my role - it worked!
