Sending mass emails with Outlook Edition

Is it possible to send an email to multiple SF contacts with Outlook Edition and log that activity in each other contact records. My sales team does not like using the mass email function.

No and yes -- Outlook Edition may let you sync to get the addresses into Outlook so you can send the email but it cannot log the activity on all Contacts the email is sent to at once. You would need a custom integration with salesforce to make this happen like you are describing.
