Data loader for offline edition

Hi,

    Please advice me if there is a possibility to use Data Loader for offline edition. If so where i can locate it in offline mode.

The data loader connects to the server only. What would be the purpose to connect to the offline edition ?

Hi,

    We have a requirement where the sales rep meet the customers( in this case the diary farmers) and updates their details offline. Would like to have an option of uploading the details via excel connector or data loader in offline mode to salesforce.
