Logging into Salesforce using Mail Drop

I am running Apple's MAIL program and I am trying to use the ADD EMAIL function with Mail Drop and when I type in my information I get a pop up that says the following:

INVALID_LOGIN: Invalid username, password, security token; or user locked out.

I've triple checked the information and it's still not working.

Any suggestions please?

Thank you.

login to the web app, and look at login history, that might give a more detailed error message.

I'm having a mail drop issue too.  All of a sudden when I click on add mail, it does nothing.  I looked in console and have:

5/13/09 1:45:24 PM Maildrop[595] .sdef error: Operation could not be completed. (NSXMLParserErrorDomain error 1549.)

5/13/09 1:45:24 PM Maildrop[595] line number: 2

Just installed it today and having the same problem. Only login screen, but I am logged in.

It also freezes and I have to use Forced Quit to get rid of it.

It doesn't go further to the nice screens as promised.

No answer found so far what I should do next.

What does the console log show ?

mine will just quit responding (Mail Drop), I'll click to add email and nothing happens, after I have logged in.  So since I have logged in, if I check log in history on the web app, it shows successful every time

the .sdef error is related to the file that describes the applescript interface. Have you tried re-installing Maildrop ? what version of OSX are you running ?
