Trapdoor and "My Domain"

I recently implemented "My Domain" for an org, and now my trapdoor entry for that org dumps me to the SFDC login screen. I tried changing the Server value to mydomain.my.salesforce.com or https://mydomain.my.salesforce.com , but neither worked.

Is Trapdoor compatible with My Domain, and if so, how can I resolve?

SuperfellSuperfell

My understanding is that this should still work, even with login.salesforce.com, I'll look into it.

How you have the my domains settings configured? at least on the default it appears to work fine so far, if you continue to use www.salesforce.com as the login url.

Everything appear to work fine with the latest version of trapdoor. Can you expand some more on your specifc setup (trapdoor, os, browser versions, my domains settings etc).

SuperfellSuperfell

ok, so if you set the redirect policy to "Not redirected" then you'll see this problem (for some reason it appears that this takes some time to take affect). I'll investigate if there are any good workarounds (other than changing the redirect policy)

After some investigation, there's a bug with the way the describeSObject API and my domains interact, which causes the problem, i wasn't able to find a work around. The my domains team is looking into the problem.

Salesforce.com was recently updated to resolve this, you should find that trapdoor now works fine with logins that have my domains turned on.

Thanks, Simon!

Any plans to port trapdoor to iPad? Sync the dbs? Just dreaming...

SuperfellSuperfell

Good idea, although i don't think i'm going to the time to work on it. Have you seen 1password? that does sync to your device.
