Formula field in page in Edit mode?

Hi,

 

Is it possible to insert a formula field on a page AND have it visible in Edit mode?

I have it figured out already -displaying a formula field is exactly the same as displaying any other field.

 

An example for why one would need to edit a formula field is if you want to make suggestions to the user but still want to allow them to edit the fiel.

I cannot really understand the need to make  a formula field not readonly and editable..

can you please elaborate your requirement so that ppl can suggest any other workaround!!

ASADIM -- How did you get this to work?  I also have a need to display a formula field (read-only) on the edit screen.
