Is there any guideline to convert S-control to Visualforce page?

Well, there are no specific instruction as such to change an S-Control to a VF page!

VF page supports JS/HTML and you can do everything with it that you can do in S-Control;)

So, I would say, you need to first understand basics of VF and then apply them to create pages equivalent to your S-Controls. Pasting some links below-
