Visualforce dataTable with sections and totals
Hi All,
I am trying to replicate the following HTML table in a visualforce page. The data is from one object that is linked to the opportunity object. I need to be able to indicate the totals between each section of the table. The table contains 3 detail sections and 4 total sections. I have been reading up in the community but am stuck, any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

I think that at the same time you are querying the numbers that will populate the cells, you would want your controller to also perform the calculations (total column / rows as needed) then you can just display them with merge fields.
Or, if the numbers are coming from a single record somewhere (or a parent child combo of records) you might be able to set up a formula field to always have the totals ready... then it is even easier to include as a merge field.
