Tabs for child objects

Hi,

If a master object has related child objects, by default the children are displayed in a list vertically below the detail view of the master.

Is there a way we can configure to display the children in separate tabs? If the child list is very big, then it is convenient to show them in separate tabs.

thanks.

You can create a Tab for any object, however, if it's a child in a master detail it may not be very user friendly when you try and add new records.  This is standard salesforce configuration - you don't need Visualforce for this.

Also note, if you click on the Show More on a related list it will remember how many you wish to show, plus you can always view the full list from there. (You only get these links once you exceed 5 records).
