Fill out a PDF form

We are looking to create a force.com app for my company but we have one very important requirement.  We have projects that are related to tasks.  Those two objects each contain data that is needed to fill out a PDF form.

We have data on the following objects that would be used to automatically fill out the form:

Accounts

Contacts

Projects (Custom Object)

Tasks (Custom Object)

Each of the above are linked in VF.

Any ideas on how to do this?

You can render a vf page as a pdf. But if you need to fill in a already created pdf form like an IRS form you will need to look at a third party app.  To the best of my knowledge, the force.com platform cannot open a pdf and fill in fields. (Please correct me if i"m wrong).

I would recommend you look at Conga Merge from AppExtremes.

They are listed in the App Exchange and have a product that should be able to do this.
