abi1.2911902284080376E12 In the contract object i have added a custom look up field for products. This lookup shows all the products in the organisation. But i want to filter the display in such a way that only the Opportunity Line Items(opportunity products) of the opportunity associated with this contract to appear in the lookup dialog from which the user can choose.
Any suggestions??
You can define the filter criteria (Lookup Filters) for you custom lookup relationship field. But I am not sure if this option is available on all objects or not. It is currently available on Accounts but n BETA version. I will try to do more research on this and update you if I get any additional information.
When you create a custom lookup you can use filter settings that is available in Salesforce to filter the record on the basis of some criteria that you want to show in the list .
