how to add new button

I have a custom object, i want to add a new button in addition to the existing buttons Save, ave new and Cancel.

 

How do i do it?

Go to object view.

Click on the Buttons and Links.

Now Create your button.

Add it on the layout.

Hi...

 

   Following are the steps to create a custom button:

 

Setup->Create->Objects-> Choose your created object

 

When you scroll down ....  you can see

"Standard Buttons and Links"  there you can select the new tab and create a custom button.

 

Later you can add it to your page through page layout.
