more than 50000 records in a single shot

i need to built a button on avf page where it needs to give more than 50000 records in an excell...

I am not sure about this but you can give a try using following winter12 feature:

but when i make the page read only that button will not work....

Have seperate page getting opened on the button click this the only option for the large dataset.

if you do like that also u cant get y because u r getting the request from a page which is not read only.. and i cant put the first page as read only also...
