Mapping Answers to Site?

Is it possible to access Answers from Site? I am getting the following message when I send my users to access Answers from my site.

The community you are trying to access can't be displayed in a portal.

Thanks.

When using Answers in Sites:

- Make sure to have Answers enabled for the Site (a setting on the Site detail page)

- Make sure the community is linked to a portal

- Make sure Answers are enabled

- Make sure you tied the portal to the Site.

From the error message you posted, it sounds like you didn't tie your community to the portal

All four items on you list are checked, however users can not see answers, I also have Ideas enabled and selected for the site. Users are able to access Ideas but not Answers.

Please help.

What do you mean with "make sure you tied the portal to the Site"? How do you do that concretly?

I would like also to have an anonymous access to the answers through my site. Right now, I'm only able to access the answers when I'm logged in my Site else I'm getting the same error message while not logged on.

ok just found myself... the connection has to be https, not working in http. and it's not depending on the settings
