Sample code for a reminder message to appear to a user in the UI when then click on save button?

Can any provide me with a sample code for a reminder message to appear to a user in the UI when then click on save button after entering data in required fields for a custom object?

It is not possible to override Save button so we cann't prduce reminder message but we can do it by creating a inline VF page and put on standard detail page of object.
