Using Sites with a NonProfit Starter Pack

Hi there,

we are a small charity which has been given the NonProfit Starter pack (Thanks Salesforce) which is the equivalent of the Enterprise Edition. We are very interested in making use of the Sites functionality but it is not accessable in our installation.

My question is, how and when will we be able to make use of Sites. I'm very new to Salesforce so I may well be missing something very obvious.

Many thanks,

Liam

Hi Liam,

You’re still in trial—Sites isn’t turned on until you get the donation approved.

If you want to try out sites before that, you can get a free developer edition at http://developer.force.com.

Thanks,
Steve

Since you're a nonprofit, you have the Enterprise Edition of Salesforce,. so you should see Sites under Setup | Develop | Sites.

Using Sites will take a bit of technical know-how. These boards are a great place to get info. Also check out http://developer.force.com/sites

Thanks for your reply.

I don't have Sites under the Setup-Develop. I'm a System Administrator so I think I should be able to see it.

Is there anything else I need to configure?

thanks,

Liam

Email me your "Salesforce.com Organization Id" at steve.andersen@salesforce.com and we'll figure it out. It can be found under Setup | Company Profile | Company Information.

Thanks,
