Salesforce.com Developer Analyst
Job Description:
The Salesforce.com Developer Analyst is responsible for supporting the business functions using the SalesForce.com application. The position reports directly to the Director of Global Sales Operations. The successful candidate will work with other Salesforce.com team members, IT staff, and functional leaders to analyze proposed process and system changes to the Salesforce.com application.
Responsibilities include:
• Work in partnership with business users to gather business requirements and design business processes in the Sales & Marketing areas.
• Provide knowledge and input to the business on the system implications of business process changes.
• Support business partners by recommending system solutions and implementing system changes.
• Collaborate across the organization to ensure seamless process and system integration across all business applications in the global environment.
• Setup and customize the Salesforce.com application, including maintenance of standard functionality; creation of custom objects, workflows, and approval processes; activate new Salesforce.com features/processes and/or third-party applications.
• Manage the overall configuration, design, and layout of the Salesforce.com system architecture
• Understand and support security role maintenance, including role hierarchy, security profiles and access rights for users.
• Support unit testing, integration testing, and review of business training materials.
• Follow established IT Governance processes to ensure SOX compliance and adherence to industry best practices.

Qualifications
• 4 year college degree (preferably in Computer Sciences or relevant area of expertise)
• Salesforce.com Certified Developer required
• Proven track record of supporting a Salesforce.com application
• Good knowledge of best practice business system implementation methodology
• Solid understanding of best practices in business application design and development
• Proven project management skills
• Strong ability to successfully deliver in a changing environment
• Ability to work in a collaborative team environment
• Must be results oriented.
• Must be able to interact effectively with all levels of management as well as individual contributors in a global business environment
• Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
