Uploading data using Data Loader without column headers in the input csv

I am using Apex Data Loader 17.0.

Is there a way to upload data into SFDC using Data Loader without specifying the column names/header in the input csv data file?

No, the first row is expecting the column headers. It doesn't have to match the salesforce.com field names necessarily. They can be your own header values that you can map to the proper salesforce.com object/fields in the data loader user interface.

Damn, it would be great if this has changed in the past 5 years, but I doubt it.
