In SalesForce Limits Quick Ref middle of page 16 states:
The number of posts, comments, and tracked field changes available in the Chatter feed. Currently tracked fields without
likes or comments are deleted after 90 days.
We needed clarifications on deletes; what records are getting deleted after 90-days i.e. posts w/o likes, comments on tracked fields ?

No records are deleted by SFDC. We delete system generated tracked changes (i.e automated posts which are created due to field changes or due to object creation), and only if they haven't received any likes/comments after 90 days.
Only Feed Tracked Changes that have not been commented on or liked are deleted after 90 days. Eg posts that look like this: Opportunity amount changed from $4 to $5.
