How long does information captured in Chatter?

Hello Everyone,

I am just wondering that how long does chatter stores comments & post and other details??

Yes, normal Feed/Comment is stored permanently.
For the use case, you can test it by yourself.

This is based on which way you use to post, i.e., on the webpage, by client, by Apex or WS API,
and depends on the size of your post, especially with files

Basically, what is the relation between this speed and your business

and for normal feed comment, is it stores parmenently(except admin delete it)?
