Content on the Customer Portal

Hi Friends ,

 

How do we add content on the customer portal.I have good amount of text which I want to display on the customer portal

 

Any ideas?

In your customer portal, go to the respective tab and create new records.

 

If the content has to go under a specifi library, then you can create a new library and upload your content there.

 

If you want to display some thing on the home tab then you will need to create a new html component and use this component in your portal home tab (page layout). To create new home page component (login to your SF instance - setup - Customize - Home - Home Page Components - New), and assign this to your portal through home page layouts.

Morover,I have a ink on the customer portal amongst the content.I want to find where that link is within the code.How do I go about.
