Developer Console

I need to write SOQL queries to retrieve Chatter posts. I dont see a Developer tab under my name. I am in my companys sandbox environment. It is a full Sandbox. How can I get Developer Console?

Are you able to see System Log under your name?

If yes, open the System Log by clicking ‘<Your Name>–>System Log’ and then click on the ‘Try it now!’ link to enable the new Developer Console.

I think those instructions are a little out of date, Sonam. The system log is no longer available, only the Developer Console.

The only requirement is View All Data. Make sure your user has that permission, and you should see it under <Your Name>->Developer Console.
