Chatter Free user access to ideas

Can the chatter free user acess ideas? if no, what are the options. Can we enable communities and add the chatter free user to the community

Hi Ramesh,

 

Chatter Free users  can access standard Chatter people, profiles, groups, and files. They can't access any Salesforce objects or data.

 

As an alternte - you can go for Chatter plus(chatter Only) licenses which gives users access to :

  • View Salesforce accounts and contacts
  • Use Salesforce CRM ContentIdeas, and Answers
  • Modify up to ten custom objects

Thanks for your response. how about enabling access to general public - including customers, partners and potential customers. Basically users not in the org's domain email. Can this be handled with chatterplus or do we need community license.

 

And how much salesforce charges for community license.
