Chatter mobile not showing publisher actions or mobile smart actions

Hi,

 

Publisher actions documents says these are avaliable in chatter mobile by adding mobile smart actions to gloabal layout.

I have added the mobile smart actions to global layout but chatter mobile doesn't show the actions. Am I missing any required configuration any work around for this ?

Hi Kiran,

 

I would make sure of a few things:

 

1. Setup -> Customize -> Chatter -> Settings -> Enable Publisher Actions (make sure this is enabled).

2. If publisher actions are already enabled, then make sure the layout assignment is the correct one for the user you're logged in as. For instance, the user could have a custom layout assigned to it, overriding the global layout.

 

Also, if you log in with the same user on the web, do you see those publisher actions?
