Persistent storage on hybrid apps with SmartStore

Hello everyone,

 

I have been doing some research trying to find out if we can make a persitant storage with smartStore (hybrid app). SmartStore data is inherently volatile, and that's a problem, I really want to keep data after a logout.

 

Is this actually possible ?

I have raised this in the past but the status quo is currently it's not posisble. This is currently not possible. See this link for more details.

Having mentioned these, I believe this is a crucial use case for my applications. I believe we could post this as an idea on https://success.salesforce.com/ and gather some votes to make a good case for it.
