Getting field permissions of object

Hi fellows,

Iam back again,.

Iam integrating SFDC into ios i have done already a project.This is my 2nd project for integrating SFDC in ios.

For this i need to get field accessabilty of an object throgh REST API.

Is it possible to get the field permissions (read/write)of an object through REST API.
