Failed to Login to SalesForce
Hello,
I was crating a site. in that i have a free domain name. I used the same. when i clicked the secure default link, it gave me error "UNDER Construction" I refreshed the page many time. Again when i clicked on home tab, it automatically logged out of my a/c. I tried to log in again with correct userid and password, but unable to login Its very frustrating ....kindly help !! |
I also did everything for the security token.
Filled the correct name....and got the mail below.

Under Construction is not an error. It seems that you have not configured the site properly. Create a VF page and set this page to Active Site home page. Also don't forget to make the site active otherwise you will face the error.
The another error i.e. unable to login to salesforce.com is not related with the site problem. Eiher you are typing wrong login url e.g. test.salesforce.com instead of login.salesforce.com or you are providing wrong user credentials. Try once again, it may work. In case you are unable to login then reset the password and try to login.

Ok, so what should be done next.
I have also used the forgot password option, and filled the correct security question
But din't get any mail regarding reset password in my mail a/c.
Can you kindly, help me how out of this...
Or it is not possible ever for me to login...again to the same account.
Or there is another way to recover password. (The passworded was correct)
I am using correct url for login (( https://login.salesforce.com/ ))
You need to follow the steps given below :-
1. Click forgot password
2. System will ask for the user name : provide the correct user name.
3. Check the associated emai id : you will get an email and with the subject Salesforce.com - Reset Forgotten Password. Click the link provided in the mail.
4. it will ask to activate your computer. Check the associated email id and click on the link to actiavate your computer.
5. Repeat steps 1 to 3 and now system will allow you change the password.
This is wat all I did.....many time...unable to recover...more ideas
You are not repeating the steps 1-3 as i mentioned in the step 5 in the last post.

On the login page
1) Click forgot Password
2) It will displaying.....

3)Click Continue..It opens this page.
Reset Password
Check the email account associated with your username for instructions on resetting your password. (And remember to look in your spam folder, where automated messages sometimes filter.)
If you still cannot log in, please contact the administrator at your company and they can reset the password for you.

security answer seems to be wrong. Please write an email to support@salesforce.com and they will help you out.
