Custom Object to be displayed

Hi People,

I have a question. What would be the best and least cost to display a custom object on an Internal website? I have created a Calendar that is linked to a custom object and displays project records. This information displayed would only be for our company personal. Not for external use. And have the ability to update a couple fields when necessary. What are your thoughts?

Thanks again,

SC

I dont really get your question

you want to build an internal site using salesforce?

if it is  internal you can create a dedicated app on Salesforce, including the tabs you need, and visual force pages if needed.

force.com Sites can be used to create a public web site with or without authentication (authenticationneeds customer or partner portal licenses or authenticated sites licenses)

Exactly - as Sandra said, if it's purely internal, does it mean the intended users will have Salesforce user id's? If so, you can just throw together a couple of VF pages which are made available as a tab or app.  If it is external users who need to be authenticated (or not) you can use Force.com sites.

Best,

Ram
