how to make e-commerce website using sales force

Hi ,


I want to make a e-commerce web site using site.com. I have read site.com tutorials and make a general web site which is given site.com tutorial. but i want to make full demo for makeing e-commerce site.

also i used third party e-commerce resource. but it is not help ful for me.

It's a lot of work.  You'll want to look into Force.com Sites, not Site.com, they are two different things.  But you have lots of things to even consider before starting an ecom site in Salesforce.

For instance, are you going to support B2C and/or B2B?
For B2B, how are you going handle customers / accounts?
Are you going to use standard Salesforce objects like Products/Pricebooks or go strictly custom?
What functionalities are you going to support?
Etc.  There are literally a billion different scenarios and questions you'll have to think about, and once you start developing your ecom site, then you'll have a billion more.
