Objects security

Hi guys.

I'm going to try to explain my problem.

I've developed two different objects (Accounts and Oportunities).

No, i let some functions to enter this objects, but, the idea is that users allowed to enter those objects, can't see information that other users created. For example:

 - user A load a new account

 - user B get in the object and can see that account.

i don't want users to see what other do.

Can anybody help me with this issue?

thanks in advance

Pablo

If you go to sharing settings and when you create sharing settings between 2 users there is option for private, read only and read/write so you can select private

Create sharing settings between user A and user B and give access as read only

Owned by User A

Shared with UserB

read only

Venu, thanks for your answer but i think that that's not correct.

The idea is NOT tu share the data. So, both users (at the same level) woun't see the data recorded from the other.

For example, User A creates an account (and sale opportunity)

If User B see this, then he can call the account and try to sell by himselfe).

Understand?

So, how can i make users to see ONLY the data that they have?

thanks again

I didn't quite get you here, if you are trying to restrict the data to be visible to userB then you can set the sharing settings as private , this can avoid the user B to see the date owned by User A
