S-Control on Contact Home Page

Hi Everyone,
                      Can anyone tell me if it possible to provide a Custom button, or a Link which could be made available on a Contact home page, This would be inturn linked to a S-Control.

You cannot add custom buttons or links to the Contact Home Page (or any object home page).  You can add custom buttons to the Contact List View page, but it sounds like you want it to be the first thing they see when they click on the Contact tab.  In the Summer '07 release, we support the ability to override the Contacts tab -- so, one option is to completely replace the Contact tab with a custom scontrol.  To do this, override the Contacts Tab item in Setup | App Setup | Contacts | Custom Buttons and Links, in the Standard Button Overrides section.
