Are there any suggestions on how to trigger an s-control from the save button within a case?

I have created an s-control that will send an e-mail. I need to have this sent when a case is created.

If you are simply sending an email after case creation then you realistically could use workflow rules to trigger the notification instead of trying to link in your sControl.

I cannot use the workflow to send e-mail, because it does not allow me to change the reply to address.
I need to send an e-mail using a template and have the person receiving the e-mail to reply to an address external to salesforce. I have the s-control complete and working, but need a way to trigger.
