Lookup and display items in related list

Hello,

I want to lookup all items in a related list that meet a certain criteria.  I have been trying to do this by creating an S-Control and Iframe in the objects, but i'm not sure how to go about finding and displaying the list.

Any ideas?

I'm thinking that IFraming in the items may be more trouble than its worth.  I've also been playing around with using the JavaScript openLookup() function, but I'm not 100% sure what parameters the function wants.  Any ideas on what to provide for the function when trying to display certain items in a related list?
