Hi Venkat,

Can you provide some more information; on what object(s) are the page layout and record type options missing ? Does your user in the org have the 'Customize Application' permission ?

Page layouts and record types are not available in Group Edition or Professional Edition. You need to have at least Enterprise Edition.
