Is there any limit on number of workflows setup in Enterprise Edition?

Hi,
 
Ours is an emterprise edition of salesforce.com. Is there any limit/restrictions on how many workflows we could set up?

I am not aware of any limits on the number of workflows but last I saw EE is limited to 10,000 time trigger executions per day.

You can have as many as you'd like, but you can only have 50 active per object (or was it 300?). There definately is a limit, since a large number of rules will have a severe impact on the time it takes to save. If you reach the limit, you should consider writing your workflow rules to use formulas or other flexible means rather than seeking a higher limit, since that can profoundly impact your organization's ability to create new records.
