Does ajax toolkit in s-control work in salesforce professional

Hello,

I am trying to use ajax toolkit in s-control in a professional saleforce edition but it doesnot work

 

eg code :-var result = sforce.connection.query("Select Name, Id from User");

I have Included <script src="/soap/ajax/13.0/connection.js">

but this doesnot work

The AJAX Toolkit leverages the API. I recommend contacting your Salesforce Account Executive to discuss your options to get this feature enabled.
