Send Bulk SMS like "Send Mass Mail" option

Hello,

 

On Contacts I have a option to send bulk emails (Mass Email Contacts), I want to have same to send SMS's.

 

When I select the "wizard" from Mass Email Contacts, have "Step 1 to 4", basicaly I need "Step 1" (Specify the recipients to include) and "Step 2" (Select an email template).

 

Salesforce have some component that allows perform these steps without having to develop by me?

I dint find any Salesforce application which send Mass Sms .... not even for single sms :(

Hello Bala,

 

I can send a single SMS. I create a S-Control, basically:

- a html page with Javascript and use Clickatell HTTP API to send sms

- get the mobile phone from contact,

- show a popup, where the user write the message and then send,

- after send I record the SMS sended, datetime and the sms status in a new Object (App Setup --> Create --> Objects)

- and auto-close the popup and reload the contact page

 

 

But this solution is not god if you want send 20, 50, 100 sms. Want "create" a 'Send Mass Email' like option, and if Salesforce have a object, component, whatever, which allows the use of the selection of groups and contacts (STEP's) would be easier for those using the SF.

Initially I tryied using some webservice for sending , But I didnt get any luck,
