gptheprince Is it possible to send Mass Email/Mail Merge using the results of a report?
Hello
I have a report tha tells me what are the members whose membership
dues are due (due date < today)
I run the report from the Donations, and I get the list of names etc.
Can I trigger the mass email/mail merge starting from this report?
My problem is that I try to create a View from the Contacts, I do not
have the information about their membership status. Is there any
AppExch that helps in that direction?

In you have the Campaign feature in your edition, then you can run the report and add the contacts from the report to a campaign. Then you can mass email everyone in the campaign.
The Add to Campaign button will be on any report that includes contacts -- except for reports that use a custom report template.
Third Party mass Email application would be a great solution for sending Mass Emails as there are limitations in salesforce in sending Mass Emails
In order to make yourself Unlimited while sending the mass emails to Contacts, Leads, Users and sending emails Campaign Members then you need to check an appexchange native app - MassMailer.
This will let you bypass salesforce mass email limits, let you choose sender email address, reply to email address and at the same time let you send simple marketing emails to Schedule one-off mass emails. With this you can keep tack of you Emails i.e. it got delivered, Opened, Unsubscribed, spam, new etc etc.
