Related data elements

I have 2 record types (ASSET and OPPORTUNITY) that are related.

Each has a data element called Related "X" (where "X" is the other record type name).

Is the connector able to see this field?

It does not display when the list of fields of the record is presented for extraction purposes (Step 2 of 3 in the Table Query Wizard).

MikeMike,
What object are you looking at?  What API version are you using? (this can be seen when you first log in. It's the last part of the URL)  The connector should be able to see the field, record type ID (I think that's the name for all record type fields)

I ran into this as well, and after plinking around some I noticed that the profile my administrator account uses does not have rights to that record type!   Just go into the record type section of your user profile and make sure that record type is listed there.   After that I could use the connector to update fine.

Also I was able to use the record type name, didn't have to use the actual ID.
