how do i get the account phone number into excel file in easyer way than copy paste?

hey, i have a excel file with the account name and account ID number from salesforce. im trying to get the accounts phone number (company phone #) into the fine for 200 names. is there a way i can do some search or function which enables me to do this quickly instead of just looking up every account and copy & paste

Hi Dave, There are lots of ways to do this, I will outline one below: Take your list of account IDs and stick them in this table:

COLUMN ACOLUMN B
ACCOUNTREFRESH
ACCOUNT IDACCOUNT PHONE
PUT YOUR ACCOUNT IDS HERE

1) Now Select the cell that has "Account" in column A
2) click your Excel Connector Button and select "Query Table Data".
It will fill in all of the phone numbers for the account ids that you specified in column a.

You can combine this with excel's VLOOKUP function for a lot of "fun".
