Importing

Hi,

 

I am trying to import data from Groundspring.org into Salesforce. My approach is to convert the data into CSV in excel and then use sforce connector to import it.  Is this the best way or are there other ways?

It really depends on what data you're importing and whether it's a one-off or a regular thing. There's nothing wrong with using the Excel connector, it is just highly manual, and if you're not heaps comfortable it can be prone to errors.

 

Personally I would look at The Apex Data Loader.
