There's a couple of solutions in the AppExchange. Try SuperCell from 2FootPutt. Request the Plus version (works with Excel). Each SF org is entitled to one free license of the Plus version. Website link: http://www.2footputt.com

The Plus version can be evaluated on a trial basis for 15 days with no obligation or you may apply for a free license.
I have several programs that I regularly use (with Excel Connector at the top of my list) for working with Salesforce data. SuperCell is getting added. Thanks for the reference to it!
