error message: describeBox_init:wild_error

Has anyone ever seen this error before? I was trying to login to the connector in Excel 2003 and received this error - it will not let me proceed. Any ideas?

Hi. I usually get that when my session has some how 'timed out'. If I click on 'Logout Session' and then attempt to log-on again it works again. Hope that helps. ++

The possible reason is your sales force utility/API  password has expired. Login to Salesforce. Go to setup->Personal Profile->Change your password.

It will send you also the security token.

Use the new one.

I know this is years after the fact but the Excel Connector is still great and very powerful.  I noticed this error was happening if there was not a unique domain name.  I was not able to connect and would get this error, until the other way when I registered my domain.  This immediately fixed the problem.
