Excel Connector Version Contraints

Hi,

 

Please could you tell me:


- Which Windows Op Systems the EC runs on

- Which versions of Excel the EC runs on

I use the connector daily via Win7 and Excel 2007. I previously used it regularly on XP with Excel 2003. One limitation is that you need to set the API url to the 16.0 API. Later versions of the API don't seem to work, so it may not be possible to access things like Chatter Feeds.

IF you manually change the api versino to anything past 16 you will not be able to pull ANY records (even on old objects such as accounts).

 

You lose any object access to anything beyond 16:
