Custom Button in the Custom object Home page

We need to dispaly a button in the Custom Button home page. How can this be achieved?

Hi Suresh,

I understand that you wish to have a custom button on a custom Object home page?
Have you overrridden the home page with a visualforce page..if yes - you can add the button on VF else if its the standard functionality - you can add the button on the detail page:
