I am in need to listing Accounts under the Leads tab BUT I need to be able to list hundreds of accounts associated with one lead and track custom fields along with it. I can not create a master detail for these tabs Salesforce won't allow it. I was advised to create a sublist but how do I go about doing that?
If I understand your setup correctly - one lead is associated to multiple Accounts..right?
(In salesforce when a lead is converted to account - the lead is non existance and the custom fields are copied over to accout/contact/opportunity)
How have you established the relationship between Account and Lead such that a single lead is associated to multiple Accounts?
is it a custom field through which one can know that say Account A belongs to XYZ lead?
If the above is true - I think you can create vf page which pulls up all accounts specific to a lead and in the query - you can use this distnguishing custom field as a filter.
Once done - you can edit the Lead pagelayout and add the vf Page to it..
