"UNSUPPORTED_CLIENT: HTTPS Required" Error showing up again

In the past hour, we have gotten 4 new cases from our API integration customers with the error:
UNSUPPORTED_CLIENT: HTTPS Required

What has happened in just the past hour or two at Salesforce?  An unplanned DNS change?

Are you still getting any such issues reported back to you? Please share the timestamp when the issue was seen if it persists and we can investugate further..

Our Support department began logging cases for this error at about 11:40 am PST, with 6 Cases created between then and 1:45 pm.  We did find out from one of them that they were on na.1 instance, but do not know the other customers' SFDC instances.  The problem seemed to be resolved by around 3:30 pm PST yesterday.

This morning, all seems to be good; no other cases coming in for that issue.  Just wondered what had occurred with Salesforce to cause this issue.  Any ideas?

Hi Meli, thatnks for getting back..I am going through trust.salesforce.om and I do not see any issue on our side on NA1 for the 17th/18th March - would encourage you to log a case with us(if not yet done) if you see this in future so we can work on the live issue and trougbleshoot..
