Autonumber should start with "1" as the day begins, is it possible? if it is please guide me

Hi Laxman,  

If you go with the out-of-box standard functionality - this would be tough to implement but you can try the following:
1)Create a number field
2)Update this number field using a trigger by calculating the highest value +1 
3)Have a scheduled apex run every night to update the value of the number field to 1
