Mobile Pack for AngularJS won't install

Trying to follow directions here: http://www2.developerforce.com/en/mobile/getting-started/html5#angularjs

When installing the app into my org I get a message about the AppExchange package being deprecated. Has there been any update on this topic? I would like to test this out but am getting blocked by the package install error.
