unable to show saved record in same vf page

Hi i am having a vf page i want to save records in same vf page at the down without redirecting to another page. how can i achieve the functionality

hi ramu_sfdc my requirement is when i save a record it must save on same vf page it must not redirect to different record detail page

I assume that you want to stay in the same edit mode without redirecting is it? if yes, then you might probably try {!quicksave} rather than {!save} which would redirect to detail page as a standard functionality.
